This policy explains what this website collects, who receives it, how long it is kept and what you can ask us to do about it. It is written for MD Contract Services Ltd, trading as Amis Piling & Dredging, and it covers this website only.

What this website collects
Nothing you type. There is no form on this website. No enquiry form, no quote request, no newsletter signup and no account. You cannot submit anything to us through this site, so we collect nothing that way.
If you email or call us. We get whatever you choose to tell us, and we use it to reply to you and to work out whether we can help. We do not add you to a marketing list, and we do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone for their own purposes.
Analytics, and only if you accept. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 records which pages you looked at, how you arrived, roughly where in the world you are and what device you used, under property G-6CY63XMN7B. We load it directly, with no tag manager. Until you accept, it is not loaded at all: nothing is sent and no cookie is set. Our lawful basis for analytics is your consent.
Technical data needed to deliver the page. Like every website, ours cannot send you a page without knowing where to send it. Our hosting and security provider receives your IP address, the address of the page you asked for, your browser type and similar network information, purely to serve the site and to block attacks on it. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interests in delivering the site and protecting it. That data may be processed outside the United Kingdom, under the safeguards in that provider's data protection terms, which incorporate the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
Your consent, and how to withdraw it
Nothing is written to cookies or storage before you decide, apart from the record of your decision itself. Declining is exactly as easy as accepting, and no box is ticked for you.
You can change your mind at any time from the control in the footer of every page. Withdrawing takes effect immediately: we withdraw the consent signal, record your decision, delete the analytics cookies from your device and reload the page, after which the analytics script is never loaded again. Opening the control and closing it without choosing changes nothing.

That is the complete list. There are no advertising cookies, no social pixels, no session recording and no embedded third parties.
Who receives your information

Google is named because you are being asked to accept its cookies and its cookie names identify it either way. Each of these acts on our instructions, and none of them is permitted to use your information for their own purposes. Both operate global networks, so some information is processed outside the United Kingdom under the safeguards in their data protection terms. We may also disclose information where the law requires it. Unless obliged or permitted by law to do so, your information will never be sold or disclosed to unauthorised third parties.
How long analytics data is kept
Analytics data is kept for 14 months, which is the longest a standard Google Analytics property allows, and then deleted.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you, and ask for a copy.
- Rectification, if what we hold is wrong or incomplete.
- Erasure. Ask us to delete information we hold about you and we will, unless the law requires us to keep it.
- Restriction of what we do with it, in the circumstances the law allows.
- Objection to processing we carry out under our legitimate interests.
- Portability. Ask for it in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent to analytics at any time, from the Cookies control in the footer.
To exercise any of these, email team@amispiling.co.uk. We will ask for enough information to be confident you are who you say you are, and no more than that. There is no charge, and no automated decision-making on this site.
Complaints
If you think we have handled your information badly, tell us first at team@amispiling.co.uk. We would rather put it right than have it escalated.
You do not have to come to us first. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK supervisory authority, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Security
This site is served only over HTTPS. There is no database, no login and no visitor data stored on the site, because there is nothing to store. Nobody can promise perfect security and we will not pretend otherwise. If a breach ever occurs that is likely to risk your rights and freedoms, we will report it to the Information Commissioner's Office within 72 hours, and tell you where the law requires it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, the date at the top changes and the new version applies from the day it is published. You can contact us about it at team@amispiling.co.uk.
